Reading the Grid

Every round of Minesweeper Deduction Puzzle presents a covered grid. Clicking a tile reveals it. If that tile hides an obstacle, the round ends immediately. Safe tiles display a number showing how many obstacles sit in the eight surrounding cells, including diagonals. That single rule drives every decision: each number is a constraint, and your job is to combine constraints until only one possible arrangement remains.

Marking and Probing

Right-clicking a tile, or long-pressing on mobile, places a marker on a suspected obstacle. Markers are notes, not commitments; you can remove them at any time. When the numbers leave you genuinely stuck, a limited probe ability checks one tile safely without ending the round. Because probes are scarce, the game rewards players who exhaust logical deductions before spending one. This balance between marking freely and probing sparingly keeps each round tense without adding time pressure.

Difficulty and Accessibility

Adjustable difficulty settings change the grid size and obstacle density, so the same rules scale from a quick mental warm-up to a longer analytical session. The interface stays clean and uncluttered across desktop and mobile browsers, and the game requires no download. Because there is no timer, you can pause, re-examine the board, and work at your own pace. That design makes it suitable for players of all ages who prefer reasoning over reflexes.
